Nurse Coordinator,Cancer Center,Ft,Days,9a-5p
Description: The oncology nurse coordinator a professional registered nurse who assumes clinical responsibility for a specific caseload of patients.
Working under the direction of a physician, the oncology nurse specialist : accesses the patient's past history and current condition, establishes and monitors the / family goals and outcomes, coordinates, monitors and evaluates patient care in the outpatient setting, accesses and implements patient/family education and home care needs and uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to access each patient's age specific needs and age specific treatment and care for the adult and geriatric population.
Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Additional experience required based upon specific department needs.
Current New Jersey Professional Registered Nurse's license.
Basic Life Support course completion.
Successful completion of Site Personnel General and Nursing Orientation.
Successful completion of Division/Department specific orientation.
Current New Jersey RN license.
