The NNP will be based primarily at BBMC, Level II Nursery.
In addition the NNP will be required to work at BDMC and BMMC.
Night call is required with a 30 minute response time to BBMC.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and work effectively in emergency situations.
For More Information, Call 480-981-4580 Responsibilities: The NNP is responsible for providing team-oriented primary-level medical care and patient management to a designated number of critical and convalescent newborns; providing necessary emergency, acute and supportive care for sick newborns according to established routines in the absence of a qualified physician; and ensuring the availability of clinical expertise for crisis management of high risk infants on a 24-hour basis.
Qualifications: This position requires a registered nurse with current Arizona license, extensive experience in newborn, special or intensive care nursing; successful completion of an approved Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Specialty or related Master's level program; state certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, and demonstrated competence as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
Minimum 2 years Level III exerience as an NNP with the ability to function independently in a Level II setting.
