We have a rewarding opportunity in our Atlanta facility for a Medical Technologist.
The Med laboratory technologist analyzes and evaluates patient specimens to ensure laboratory results are reported accurately and in a timely manner.
Works in accordance with testing procedures (SOPs) for quality control, safety and laboratory technical procedures.
Works independently of direct supervision.
The medical technologist also performs highly complex analysis of patient specimens.
Evaluates validity of specimen results against the algorithms displayed by the lab computer system.
Reruns test as per SOP guidelines.
Documents all corrective actions taken.
Minimum Requirements: -Associate Degree - MLT/MT certification required - 1-2 years experience a must - RIA and Special Chemistry a must Various compensation and benefits programs are available depending on position, years of experience and geographic location.
