Medical Biller (Sr. FGP Asst)
Summary: Medical Biller for over 8 surgeons at NYU's Cancer Center.
Responsibilities: Timely and accurate billing preparation and submission including: ensuring the timely and accurate collection, preparation and verification of billing information submitted to the billing service Reconciliation of time of service payments to the billing documents Serving as liaison to billing service and responding to questions, data requests and other inquiries.
Establish and ensure appropriate internal controls in the practice Perform other general administrative duties to support billing operations and all related functions.
Qualifications: 2 or more years medical billing experience required.
Ideal candidate should have coding certification or in the process of obtaining coding certification Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
Computer proficiency (MS Office) required.
HS Diploma required
