Home Health Aide-Lansing
Schedule: Full time and part time positions available with our Lansing, MI Branch.
Location: Worth Home Care - LANSING, MI Job Summary: It is the goal of Worth Home Care to provide quality, comprehensive home - and community - based nursing and home health aide services to children and adults.
The program focuses on the heath care needs of people with neurotrama - related injuries (ie brain injury, spinal cord injury,), acquired brain injury, neuromuscular disease, orthopedic injury, and other persons who live with cognitive/medical issues necessitating additional assistance in their own homes.
Worth Home Care has offices in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing.
Staff members drive to people's homes who live approximately within a 60-mild radius of those cities.
Job Requirements: Certificate from a Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide training course or its equivalency or successful completion of a training program that meets Federal Conditions of participation 484.
36 (a) and documentation of completion with evidence of employment as a HHA in last two years.
Passes HHA/CENA pre-hiring test, ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions, ability to follow documentation requirements, reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's license.
Must have the ability to lift and physically assist dependent persons.
CPR Certification.
Other: Must be able to function in a practice environment with minimal direct supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with client/family.
