HL7& Interface Analyst JOB DESCRIPTION Emergint Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Technical HL7 Interface Analyst Key Skills: Utilize industry standard interface protocols (HL7, XML) to create analysis templates, design and data mapping specifications, test plans, training plans Identify and assist client with change management/process re-design as related to integration Provide analysis and design of data modeling and database storage requirements Design, configure and manage systems integration engine for the HL7 messaging specification for Data Brokering at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Educate, assist and guide clients and staff in related uses of clinical database storage, interface engine and data exchange Facilitation of JAD Sessions, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Public Health, RATIONAL, Requirements management, Strong communication and interpersonal skills., Strong customer service ethic., Strong Writing Skills, Understand Requirements and Convert to Functioning Modifications, web applications Essential Functions: Analyzes and documents data integration business requirements and processes.
Constructs analysis templates, interface specifications, data mapping specifications, conceptual data process models, including data dictionaries, working knowledge of relational databases.
Travel to client sites and works directly with clients at all levels throughout the organization to help identify and clarify business requirements and deploy interfaces.
Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
Participates in work groups and work sessions with business and technical consultants to explore business process improvement and re-engineering opportunities.
Essential Knowledge: Understanding of how data integration and other information technology interfaces with the functional groups within an organization.
Health care industry / public health knowledge.
Understanding of HL7, Interface analysis and design.
Must be knowledgeable with the interface engine tools, Possess at least a BS in a related discipline, Have at least 5 years of progressive experience working on healthcare interfaces.
Required Skills: * Interface analysis and design experience * Development of interface specifications and mapping documents * Use case development * Strong written and verbal communications skills * Quick study and self-starter.
Minimal supervision.
