Front End Administrator (069615)
Job Title: Front End Administrator (069615) Company: LabCorp Location: Colonial Heights,VA Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Administration & Support Services Front End Administrator (069615) Colonial Heights, VA 23834 Hours for this is Monday - Friday 8:00a to 5:00p at our Colonial Heights, VA location.
Performs a wide variety of clerical, customer service functions and administrative duties generally in support of a specific Patient Service Center.
Interrelates with the Patient Service Center staff, supervisor and management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal communication and operation of the Patient Service Center.
Performs all tasks in accordance with LabCorp's Safety and Integrity Programs and company policies.
Skill Requirements Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.
Machine: Personal computer (LCM), Calculator, Fax Machine, and Copier.
Physical Demands: Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on one's feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping.
Moderate physical effort (up to 30 pounds); must comply with applicable safety procedures.
Working Conditions: Possible exposure to infection from disease-bearing specimens; regularly exposed to the risk of blood-borne diseases; exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens, contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances, work independently.
Must comply with applicable safety procedures.
Vision Requirements: Able to pass standardized color vision test, as required by test performed.
License/Certification/Education: Normally High School Diploma or equivalent w/1-3 years of experience.
