" Director - Research Compliance Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director of AMC Compliance in the oversight and evaluation of the compliance efforts pertaining to grant and contract management, human and animal research subjects, FDA and clinical trials issues: overseeing efforts to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements; assembling reviewing and proposing revisions to policies and practice guidelines for billing and financial accounting for research; developing and implementing ad hoc and formal training programs pertaining to billing and other areas of regulatory compliance; conducting audits and risk analyses, identifying areas for improvement and development and implementing operational changes to improve compliance efforts; plus all related functions.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field with five years experience, preferably in a medical school environment; broad knowledge of compliance issues, terminology and regulations; successful track record of developing and implementing compliance programs; strong analytic and problem solving skills; and ability to translate complex regulations and findings into understandable and meaningful terms required.
Excellent communication skills essential.
