Credentialing Coordinator

is a national, full-service Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) providing credentialing and licensing services to healthcare organizations across the country.
CREDENT holds the coveted Certification from The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), and our processes are compliant with the standards of NCQA, JCAHO, URAC, AAAHC.

Together, our staff has over 90 combined years of experience in the areas of healthcare credentialing, accreditation and licensing.
Each member of our staff is certified as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) or is currently preparing for certification.
CREDENT is currently seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to join it's team.
The Credentialing Coordinator role includes the following duties: q Coordinates all aspects of practitioner credentialing and recredentialing.
q Coordinates processing of new credentialing and/or recredentialing applications and other practitioner information including primary source verification and compliance with NCQA, JCAHO, URAC and AAAHC standards, State & Federal regulations, and internal company policies and procedures q Entry and maintenance of physician/practitioner data into credentialing system.
q Acts as key liaison with assigned clientele operating as point person for completing and ensuring compliance & delivery of required information to clients in a timely manner.
Do you meet these requirements: q Bachelor's Degree preferred.
May substitute education with 2-3 years experience working in credentialing or related role.
q Excellent communication, organization and computer skills a must.
q (CPCS) Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist certification is preferred, or commitment to pursue certification within 6 months of start date.
