Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Head Nurse Full Time, Night
This full time position reports to the Nursing Director of the Coronary Care Unit.
Unit Description The nurses in the CCU provide expert multidisciplinary care to the adult critically ill patients.
This unit consists of 14 private rooms.
Work stations are positioned to provide nurses with a direct view of their patients at all times.
The primary patient population includes myocardial infarction, CHF, life threatening arrhythmias, transplants assessment as well as other cardiac conditions requiring critical care.
These nurses care for patients requiring LVAD, RVAD, IABP and CCVH support.
NJ Nursing License BSN or pursuant of BSN required CCRN preferred Previous leadership and 1-2 years of relevant critical care experience is required.
