Clinical Research Mgmt. Coordinator
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of clinical trials or clinical management experience in an academic, research or related setting plus working knowledge of MS Office and medical terminology required.
Candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clinical trials and is the established point of contact and resource for investigators and research coordinators; providing support to investigators and coordinators in the development of protocols and facilitates the approval process; assisting in the timely completion of study project goals including data collection, clinical trial application completion, data management issues as well as contract negotiation in conjunction with the OCT contracting specialist; participating in the development and implementation of the InfoED Clinical Trial Management Software (CTMS) for the NYU Medical Center community; assisting the Director and Financial Analyst in capturing all clinical trials financial information in InfoEd CTMS and marketing investigators interests to industry requirements to develop targeted clinical trial projects; developing courses on the development of effective management of clinical trials for Principal Investigators and Study Coordinators; plus all related functions as assigned.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organizational skills are essential.
