Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Obstetrical or Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist, (FT, Day Shift, M - F) to work in our Obstetrical services.
Christiana Care's L & D department has 16 LDR's, 8 high risk LDR's, 6 OB recovery rooms, 3 OR's, 10 triage beds, 50 postpartum beds and expanding, and 82 OB/GYN's.
With more than 7,000 new babies born at Christiana Hospital each year, we know what it takes to make the birth of a baby a positive and meaningful event for the mother and her family.
In this position the Clinical Nurse Specialist will apply their clinical expertise in evidence-based nursing practice within the obstetrical specialty area and functions as clinical expert, educator, researcher, and consultant.
Leadership skills (system thinker and change agent) are role assumptions.
To qualify you must have two years of recent CNS experience, an MSN and a Clinical Nurse Specialist licensure in DE or eligible.
A specialty certification is also required.
