" Clinical Administrator - FGP Radiology Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five to ten years experience with direct managerial responsibilities in the field of Medical Imaging.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Well developed organizational skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities required.
Information systems experience and good PC skills required.
Candidate will be responsible for working with staff and physicians in ensuring delivery of consistent, high quality care within the Department of Radiology and for the facilities associated with the Faculty Group Practice division.
Has operational responsibility for services provided throughout the outpatient FGP department (including X-ray, CT, Ultrasound and MRI) on a daily basis.
Responsible for oversight of daily clinical operations in FGP Radiology facilities including technical and support staff services.
Maintains the high level of technical and business skills required to regularly and proficiently organize, train and counsel technical and support staff, with regard to job performance, professional growth and knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
Analyzes and evaluates workflows and initiates subsequent work with area managers/supervisors in implementing improvements.
Maintains oversight of quality assurance program within the FGP division of Radiology.
Participates in the development and implementation of department-specific policies and procedures, as required.
