Primary responsibilities include: Analyzing information and identifying opportunities for improvement related to claims cost Identifying root causes of issues and developing solutions, both short-term and long-term Compiling and writing specifications and business requirements for long-term solutions Working with other parts of the team on control and monitoring plans to evaluate effectiveness Prior experience in the healthcare industry is required.
An understanding of Medicare, CMS or UnitedHealthcare reimbursement methodology is preferred.
Six Sigma methodology or general project management experience is also preferred.
A background in contract control and installation is a plus, as is case installation and/or claims processing experience.
Computer proficiency is required.
