Care Manager (A Telephonic Role For RN, LPC, LCSW Or PhD)

These roles represent a refreshing change from direct care, and they offer a reliable M-F schedule with no nights, weekends or holidays.

This role would focus on inpatient, outpatient or triage care.
Primary responsibilities include: Utilizing your clinical skills to provide telephonic care management and utilization review for mental health and substance abuse patients Performing authorization and concurrent review of outpatient and inpatient services Managing care in accordance with medical necessity and level-of-care guideline criteria Consulting with family members, employers and primary care physicians regarding patients’ treatment needs and goals Ensuring the proper coordination of patient intervention programs Handling emergency calls if focusing on triage and determining if callers meet criteria for benefit coverage To be considered, you must be a licensed RN, LPC, LCSW or PhD with solid clinical experience.
Behavioral health and/or psych experience is strongly preferred.
A background that includes working in a mental health environment or in an inpatient or outpatient setting would be preferred.
Triage experience would be a plus.
Good computer skills mandatory.
