An abundance of opportunities awaits you. Overview: Provides managerial and/or clinical support to patients and staff.
Supervises employees and participates in selection, orientation, counseling, evaluation and staff scheduling.
Responsible for staff competencies.
Has 24 hour responsibility for the provision of high quality, safe and cost effective patient care, environmental control and customer service.
This position is able to function as the Director of Nursing during his/her absence.
Maintains a depth and breadth of clinical and management knowledge to advance the nursing profession.
Inspires leadership skills in all nursing positions.
Demonstrates clinical proficiency in the care of patients of age groups served by the assigned clinical units.
Demonstrates Service Excellence in daily activities by modeling Service Standards and by reinforcing efforts of others with positive feedback and recognition.
Has the clinical competence and knowledge required to assess outcomes related to the age group(s) served in the assigned units.
Responsibilities: Will be leading and managing a rapidly growing service.
Will be supervising and mentoring clinical managers, managing budget, and performing performance appraisals.
Supports quality management activities and a shared leadership model.
Oversees AP/PP, L&D and a Level II Nursery.
Qualifications: A current or temporary Arizona or other compact state RN licensure (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
Educational preparation at the level of a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare is minimally preferred, Master's Degree in healthcare is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership ability and at least 3 years clinical experience relevant to the patient population and scope of care of the assigned department.
The demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, physicians, patients and their families is required.
