Air Force as a Physician.

As an Air Force physician, you'll work in state-of-the-art medical facilities around the world, complete with the most high tech equipment.

You'll be part of a team of the most highly trained professionals in medicine.

We are currently hiring the following specialties: Internal Medicine Family Practice Radiology Emergency Services Pathology Pediatrics Cardiology Neurology Benefits The Air Force offers excellent healthcare coverage for you and your family, full retirement benefits and the opportunity to earn 30 days' vacation with pay. And you won't have to worry about high liability premiums or be bothered with most of the hassles of running a business.

Qualifying Physicians may also receive specialty and bonus pay. Continued Education The Air Force understands the importance of staying up-to-date with the most current treatments and procedures.

The Air Force sponsors continued education units as well as training that keep you current in your field of medicine.

Qualifications This is an active duty position as an Air Force Officer.

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements: - Must be a US citizen between the ages of 20 and 47 - Must have obtained or be in the process of obtaining an MD or DO degree - Fully qualified physicians should have at least one year postgraduate training and a license to practice medicine.

A board certification in your specialty is preferred but not required.
