Lead Custodian: State Compensation Insurance Fund
Janitorial lead, cleaning supervisor State Compensantion Insurance Fund is California's largest workers'compensation insurance carrier.
State Fund is organized as a public enterprise and is fully self-supporting.
Currently there is a Lead Custodian Open examination being administered to help staff the Pleasanton, San Francisco, and Vacaville locations.

statefundca.com/careers/CurrentExams.asp FINAL FILING DATE: September 17, 2010 Minimum Qualifcations: Either I One year of experience in the California state service performing the duties of a Custodian.
Or II Two years of experience in janitorial work, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity over other employees and with responsibility for the janitorial work in an office or similar building; and Equivalent to completion of the eighth grade.
(Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for year basis.
) THE POSITION A Lead Custodian under direction, either (1) in a large office building works with and supervises a group of Custodians engaged in keeping an assigned space clean and orderly, or (2) in a small office building or area of comparable size, plans, organizes, supervises and assists with the cleaning and janitorial work of a small group of Custodians; and does other related work.
Qualifications Appraisal Interviews: Anticipated October/November 2010 Enhanced Benefits Package which inlcudes: Health Plan, Dental Plan, Retirement Plan, Vacation, and Paid Sick Leave.
