Investigator in the Coast Guard Reserve Immediate openings are available in your local area for those willing to take on the challenges of an Investigator in the U.

Coast Guard Reserve.

This opportunity provides great specialty training, exciting work, extra pay check, and a rewarding way to spend one weekend a month and two weeks a year.

As an Investigator, you will support the Coast Guards law enforcement and intelligence missions.

You'll conduct both criminal and personal background investigations, collect and analyze intelligence information and provide personal protection services to high-ranking Coast Guard officials and other VIPs.

Qualification for enlistment requires passing the Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test, and undergoing a criminal record review, credit check and physical exam.

Additional requirements and experience may be necessary depending on the specific job rating.

Every job is equally available to both women & men. Prior military service is not necessary to join.

Reservists may be activated at times of emergency or disaster.
