DoITT provides an array of services to other City agencies as well as directly to the citizens of New York through the 3-1-1 Citizen Services Center, NYC TV, NYC.gov, and its GIS, Data Center and Telecom Divisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The EEO Analyst will assist the Agency's Director of EEO in: - Conducting agency-wide EEO training including new hire orientation and refresher courses; - Investigating complaints of discrimination; - Approving H-1B visa sponsorship; - Preparing quarterly reports; - Analyzing and responding to reasonable accommodations requests; - Addressing the workplace needs of disabled applicants and employees; - Coordinating agency-wide diversity programs initiatives; - Maintaining the EEO database and training logs; - Addressing telephone and walk-in inquires; - Maintaining confidential EEO records.

* May need to rotate to various DoITT work locations * PREFERRED SKILLS: Successful candidate should possess the following: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; - Exceptional writing and research skills; - Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills including prioritizing and multi-tasking; - Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management; - Excellent analytical skills; - Should possess excellent knowledge of general office procedures.

- Experience with Citywide EEO as described above is desirable.

CIVIL SERVICE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. For Appointment to Salary Step 1: A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college.
