Coast Guard Reserve P/T Environmental Protection Training & Opportunities Make a full time difference in your community and for the environment one weekend a month and two weeks each year.

The US Coast Guard Reserve has immediate openings for individuals dedicated to protecting the environment and safety of our nations waterways.<P. a No Experience Necessary.

You attend seven week course that teach you the skills necessary to become Marine Environmental Specialist.

Your primary duties will include: Pollution Incident Investigations Monitoring Pollution Cleanups Conducting Foreign Vessel Boardings to Enforce Pollution and Navigation Safety Laws Harbor Patrols Facility Inspections Supervision of Explosives Loading Give back to your country and community while supplementing your income, earning great benefits, valuable training and experience! Some of the benefits you will be eligible for include: Extra income & Job Security Montgomery GI Bill plus $4,500 in Tuition Assistance annually Medical & Dental Benefits Base Privileges (unlimited commissary, exchange & recreation) Life Insurance Retirement Benefits Travel Benefits Cash Incentives to Join Prior service is not necessary to join.

Qualification for enlistment also requires passing an Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery, (ASVAB) and physical exam.
