4 Engineering Positions - SENIOR SOFTWARE V&V ENGINEER Duties include (1) performing analyses and evaluations of embedded software and associated technical documentation throughout all life cycle phases; and (2) working closely with the prime contractor and other government organizations to ensure that program objectives are met. Experience in ground combat weapons systems preferable.
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills are required.
- SENIOR SOFTWARE V&V LEAD - Duties include (1) analyses and evaluations of embedded software and associated technical documentation throughout all life cycle phases; (2) working closely with the prime contractor and other government organizations to ensure that program objectives are met; and (3) serving as technical lead for a small contractor oversight team.
Experience in ground combat weapons systems preferable.
Excellent communication (oral and written), facilitation, and technical management skills are required.
- SENIOR ENGINEER - A senior level engineer to provide software engineering support to NASA projects during the development lifecycle.
Software engineering support shall include: system design and analysis, software requirements, performing software technical assessments of flight software products, producing flight software products, performing selected product evaluations on mission critical software.
Engineer must also have a college degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science/engineering, or any sciences field.
- PROCESS IMPROVEMENT EXPERT A senior level engineer to support process improvement tasks.
Duties include (1) process definition; (2) training; (3) coaching; (4) mentoring; (5) evaluations and informal assessments; and (6) preparing organizations for appraisals.
Experience with SW-CMM or CMMI desirable but not required.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and facilitation skills required.
