Test Engineer
Position Overview: System-level integration and validation testing of a DWDM Optical Transport system.
Duties include: development of test strategies; writing test plans and procedures; test case development and execution; test result analysis and reporting; participation in technical reviews.
Work hours may vary.
Qualifications: Highly motivated and results oriented.
BS or equivalent.
2 or more years of experience with design, development, debug and execution of telecom manual and/or automated test scripts.
Validation test experience with network equipment utilizing SONET, TCP/IP, and/or Gigabit Ethernet is strongly desired.
Resilient Packet Ring (IEEE 802.
17), MAC Bridging (IEEE 802.
1D) and/or Virtual Bridged LAN (IEEE 802.
1Q) experience is a very large plus.
Must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced team environment and effectively with others to achieve project goals.
