Wireless Communication Systems Engineer Our company is currently looking for a Sr. Wireless Communication Systems Engineer that will be a participant in the architecture & design definition of algorithms for an array of top-of-the-line MIMO and OFDM based products.
This includes MIMO used for mobile military communications, broadband wireless video distribution, and also the companys MIMO WLAN commercial offering.
The successful candidate will also be an active participant in all areas of the product development process with these specific responsibilities: architecture definition , algorithm design, successful handoff to the hardware team, & simulator development in C++/C & Matlab.
This position is best-suited for an entrepreneurial technologist with an established work history who is looking to become a part of an an early stage startup with commercial & defense contracts already on hand.
Technical Responsibilities:
Design of algorithms for MIMO & SISO based OFDM systems for both military & commercial markets.
Definition of the fixed point architecture of the communication system.
C++/C and Matlab based simulator development.
Interface & handoff to the hardware team.
Technical Qualifications:
MS in Electrical Engineering is required (PhD a plus)
A minimum of four to six years of relevant experience in communication systems design
Experienced in the development & design of OFDM based systems is required
Matlab & C/C++ experience is a must.
Solid understanding of signal processing algorithms is a bonus
Knowledgeable of channel modeling, RF signal propagation, &, digital communication technologies.
