Software Project Engineer
Oversight of coordination and generation of requirements documants and verication test planning.

This position requires oversight of the coordination and generation of requirements documents and verification test planning.
He or she will serve as a primary interface with our customers and have significant opportunities to mentor junior engineers/analysts.
This position also requires coordination with users, other government agencies, and external developers.
The individual must be able to see the big picture, suggest improvements, understand user and customer requirements, yet also be able to drill down to details.
The successful candidate will have the ability to represent the program as a senior technical leader.
He or she must have highly effective communications skills to convey complex concepts to customers and colleagues.
Basic Qualifications: Past experience in designing and developing hardware and/or software, as well as a thorough understanding of architectures and functions, software development and test processes, and hardware procurement required.
Recent and extensive experience with the development of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms required.
Also must have a demonstrated ability to devise innovative approaches to solve difficult and complex problems.
BS in engineering or related field required, with an MS preferred, and a minimum of eighteen years of diversified, multi-disciplined experience in development, integration, test, and operations.
Preferred Experience: Experience with unmanned aircraft preferred.
US citizenship is required.
Candidates will be expected to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the Top Secret Level.
