Job Description: As a key contributor in System Software Development organization, responsible for developing protocol software in Storage Area Networking.
Responsible for development and maintenance of storage protocols.
Additional responsibilities include supporting software development organization in creating and executing tools software to perform system integration and white box testing.
You will work in C' in real-time kernel/embedded Unix in a multi-threaded environment.
Education/Experience Required: 2-3 + years of working experience in Protocol development in storage area networking with working knowledge of storage protocols (SCSI, FCP, SAS, SATA) or Networking Protocols Strong software testing methodology, test development, test automation and test execution experience.
Experience in C, C-shell, Tcl, Expect or Java languages to develop test cases and test automation.
Must be conversant with embedded software development tools and debuggers.
Preferences: Experience working with embedded software components such as boot loaders, device drivers and kernel modules; experience with I/o bus protocols.
Working knowledge of traffic generators and protocol analyzers, switches and routers and other networking lab equipment as well as experience working with source code control tools.
Familiarity with Storage Applications (e.
g., Backup, Replication, Migration), Storage Software (e.
g., Multipath Drivers, Volume Managers), Operating Systems internals, or HBA driver development.
