Quality Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Pinckneyville, IL Status: Temporary , Associate Reference Code: 33029 Job Category: Engineering4 Education Level: Associate's Degree Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Relevant Experience: 1-2 yearsQuality Engineer Job Order Number: 5149 Position Description: Summary of job duties: * Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation * Plan and conduct analysis, inspection, design, test and/or integration to assure the quality of product * Devise sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data * Establish program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment * Perform quality engineering review of design documentation for compliance with requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records * Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and changes * Review purchased products or components and provide input to the acceptance of product and future purchases from vendor Position Requirements: Degree in electrical engineering At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing would be a plus.
