Quality Engineer
Quality Engineer will be responsible to coordinate the production area.
Salary $45K- $60K.
Temp to Hire.
Responsible for test development and validation of new product as well as prototype and pilot runs.
Responsible for test failure analysis of production fall out and customer returns.
Responsible to generate the test reports required by the customer.
Responsible for capital equipment procurement and evaluation of test fixture an equipment vendors.
Responsible for the implementation and coordination of a calibration program for all electronic test equipment in the plant.
Responsible of test equipment set up, troubleshooting and repair on the production floor.
Responsible for final test equipment set up, troubleshooting and repair on the production floor.
Responsible for final test yield analysis and implementation of corrective actions for yield improvement.
Development a comprehensive spare parts stock for test equipment to prevent periods of down time. Responsible for recruiting and training of test operators and technicians. Requirements: Bachelor in Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering Bilingual: English and Spanish preferably.
Experience working with Internet networking devices (eg routers) is desired.
Strong electronics analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in the contract electronics manufacturing industry.
Familiar wit ISO 9000 requirements.
Experience in calibration and preventive maintenance of electronic equipment.
Experience on automated final functions test systems/burn/power temperature cycle/ESS.
Experience on troubleshooting and repair of test fixtures and automatic test systems.
Experience on the use of electronics measuring equipments like Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzers.
Experience on test equipment procurement for test and manufacturing requirements.
Strong computer skills, knowledge of programming languages like c++ and program used on the test systems like lab view, instrumentation software, etc.
Salary $40K- $55K or DOE.
