QA MANAGER The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for defining the strategic direction of the QA Group.
This person manages the deliverables of multiple QA teams located in several locations.
The manager should ensure the software team is delivering a high quality product within defined schedules and budgets.
The QA Manager will be responsible for: The overall quality assurance program for our products.
Test definition and resource planning.
Ensuring that the proper testing processes are being implemented.
Improvement in the testing & development process.
Tracking and reporting key testing metrics to management.
Management of the build & release team.
Requirements: 3+ years of experience managing 10+ QA engineers in a high-tech environment.
Strong management skills.
Expert knowledge of and experience with QA methodologies.
Working knowledge of key QA technologies and tools.
Meticulous planning, attention to detail and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
Desired Requirements: Ability to document problem resolutions clearly and accurately.
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
