QA Engineer: 2Wire, Inc.
QA EngineerIn this position you will be responsible for performing complex testing tasks for various project/s, Carry out tasks Independently as well as work cohesively in a team.
Plan the test infrastructure needs and build test setups.
You will have to understand the requirements as defined in the PRD and quickly come up with a test plan for the features / modules assigned to you. Contribute in Test Planning, Test Execution and Test Reporting.
Participate in software test cycle which includes Acceptance, Functional, System & Regression testing (both manual and automated)Participate in Performance & Load testing (both manual and automated)Debugging & Analyzing issues, Defect tracking and reporting, which Includes working closely with Engineering teams & helping resolve issues.
Work with the automation team for managing the Automation framework and its Improvements.
Create Automation scripts and manage them.
Build and maintain test setups, which typically includes computers, operating systems, virtual machines and network equipments.
Contribute in creation & review of Technical documentation.
BA/BS in engineering or equivalent1-2 years of experienceHave basic networking knowledgeExperience with telecoms or networking domain will be advantageousExposure to scripting language like Python, perl or java on linux is desirableStrong debugging, troubleshooting and communication skills is requiredMust be self-motivated and results-orientedExperience with digital loop simulator and DSLAM a big plusWorking knowledge of ADSL2+/2/1 and VDSL a big plus If interested, please apply online at http://track.
