Mechanical Designer
Mechanical design Autocad 2000 or Solidworks Mechanical Designer Job Description: Develop and coordinate designs for new and modified electrical/mechanical housings and brackets used on earth moving machinery.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
1. Creating detail designs of fabricated machine parts, weldments and casting
2. Implementing engineering change order
3. Building, installing and testing prototype parts and assemblie
4. Interface with quality and manufacturing departments as well as outside vendor
5. Hands-on installation and evaluation of components on earth moving machinery Skills: Must be proficient in the following areas
1. AutoCAD 2000 or SolidWork
2. Engineering drawing
3. Bill of material
4. Engineering change proces
5. Mechanical drafting techniques and languag
6. Material
7. Manufacturing processe
8. Microsoft Office Experience: 1-2 years related design experience.
Education: Bachelor of Science in related field (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Industrial Technology)
