Manufacturing Engineer II
Manufacturing Engineer II - #257 Candidate will provide technical support to the mechanical and electronics production and rework / repair areas. Will review drawings, test procedures, equipment for production implementation and make recommendations for design changes to alleviate problems in the manufacture of new and existing product; Research, develop, and implement new processes and procedures in an effort to optimize assembly and test processes; Create and maintain MO's and Manufacturing Aids in a timely manner based on production schedules; Coordinate the purchase of materials, tools, and test equipment needed to support the production area; Coordinate maintenance of machinery and equipment. Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences plus 5-7 years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with processes used in assembly and testing of mechanical and electro-mechanical parts; Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing production processes; Proficiency with Microsoft PC applications is preferred (Windows XP, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook); Strong communication, organizational, and oral presentation skills, along with technical writing skills.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent amount of experience; Minimum of five to ten years experience in production control using Oracle MRP system; Five years experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Access); Familiarity with the assembly process; Strong communication, organizational and oral presentation skills; Technical writing skills; Ability to work in a team environment.
