Locate Technician: Sunbelt Telecommunication
Lacator Technician, Utility Technician, Cable Locator, Technician, Locator, One Call, One-Call LOCATE TECHNICIAN Looking for Cable Locators to use mechanical/technical equipment to accurately locate underground fiber optic telephone lines.
Familiarity with One Call is a plus.
Locators work in and walk over all types of terrain (grass, gravel, ditches, concrete, etc.)in and around construction zones and residential, commercial, industrial, and rural areas in all types of weather conditions.
Locators may also have to remove and replace manhole lids and must be able to lift up to 75 pounds periodically to properly locate buried lines.
The work week is Monday Friday.
Occasional on-call may require weekend or holiday work.
Must have valid motor vehicle license with an acceptable driving record.
