Job Description: Provide technical guidance and direction in defining the project/system level information technology and data architecture strategy.

Assist in defining information technology and data architecture strategy for the corporation.

Champion the use and adoption of information architecture direction.

Provide technical leadership in defining the Information technology and data architecture strategy for small to medium size projects Provide input to middle and project management regarding information technology direction and problems.

Ensure communication of information technology strategy within the division.

Identify and research changes in information technology related to data.

Provide technical leadership to teams for the selection and implementation of new information technology.

Ensure the integration of data architecture strategy in new methodologies and research efforts.

Assist projects in areas of requirements definition, architecture, design, implementation, and problem identification and resolution.

Update Technical Reference Model.

Ensure consistent use of information architecture standards.

Develop and deliver presentation on information technology architectures.

Job requires a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.

Three years of experience in designing and implementing small to medium size information systems projects through the integration of new technology; gathering information system requirements, analyzing requirements to determine system data architecture; implementing information systems; and solving technical problems in information systems.

Experience researching and evaluating new information technology as it relates to implementing data architectures.

7 Define information standards, guidelines for information flow across the enterprise 7 Architect Transactional Data stores, Operation Data Stores and Corporate Data Warehouses 7 Develop reporting, BI infrastructure for the enterprise 7 Experience in data quality analysis, data cleansing, and data transformation projects 7 Experience designing Large Databases that support transactional systems 7 Experience with large financial services companies using Mortgage industry information standards.

Experience: 10 years in the IT industry, 5 years working as an Information Architect.
