Failure Analys
Position Overview: -Analyze to root cause, and identify corrective action for, electronic & mechanical component failures and the failure of electronic assemblies due to component failures.
-Submit and monitor component analysis being performed by external agencies (component manufacturers and analytical service providers) and work with and solicit input from Tellabs product designers, Tellabs Quality Dept., & Tellabs’ subcontractors in performing daily assignments.
-Create written documentation (reports) for problems analyzed, the results, conclusions and recommendations based on work performed and data gathered.
Qualifications
1. Years of experience: 3-5 in failure analysis of electronic components or electronic products.
2. Experience in the use of laboratory analytical tools used in component failure analysis such as: X-ray, optical microscopy, physical cross section; SEM and FTIR analysis, and chemical de-encapsulation).
3. Circuit analysis (digital & analog) skills.
4. Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
