Electrical Engineer

Job Category: Engineering & Architecture

Provide production engineering support and design/modification/improvements to process production equipment; provide engineering support to production technicians for troubleshooting and problem solving on process equipment: research state-of-the-art production technologies, control hardware, and software systems; provide engineering support for the installation of process equipment; provide training for production technicians; compile and update technical documentation on process equipment; develop engineering studies, reports and schedules; manage/supervise all areas of responsibility in a manner that demonstrates that safety is a top priority; provide project budgets and schedules; properly administer company policies and regulations.

Qualifications: BS Electrical Engineering required.

Minimum of 2 years of outstanding engineering experience in a high-tech, dynamic production environment.

Requires strong PLC experience with Allen Bradley and/or Mitsubishi PLC's.

Required good working experience with electronic power circuits, motor drives, and computers.

Must have good working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA, OSHA regulations, and all local regulations.

Must have the ability to specify, supervise, and manage contractor work.

Must have the ability to provide engineering support for short-term and long-term projects related to new product introductions and process improvements.

Must have the ability to evaluate production problems, troubleshoot and implement solutions in the dynamic manufacturing environment.

Domestic and International travel required; candidate must be willing to travel overseas.

Engineering experience in the foil, film or paper converting industry with slitting experience is a plus.
