Director Of Application Development
• Ensure that systems developed or acquired for business process solutions conform to established standards, roles and responsibilities in accordance with applicable articles within the Sarbanes-Oxley act and established industry standard business processes.
• Partner with the VP of Application Development and Chief Technology Offices in the development and management of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based environment.
• Ensure that documented and approved software development life cycle (SDLC) standards and processes are being followed and adhered to. • Work with other Information Technology directors and business units to respond to changing business needs and contribute to business growth and success through technological resources.
• Promote the effective and efficient improvements to work processes which requires insight into internal business organization and processes • Manage the day-to-day operation of the applications department • Evaluate performance based on the applicable performance measures in regards to technology as well as the results of how associates use the technology to improve service and reduce costs • Prepare and manage the applications department budget and performance management procedures.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent training, experience and education, graduate level is preferred.
Must have a minimum 8 years experience in information technology management including budgetary strategic planning and Information Technology management in the sub-prime lending industry preferred.
Also must have extensive program and project management experience and skilled in Microsoft Office environment (including MS Project), and experience in management of ASC Uniform environment preferred.
This position requires extensive understanding of Microsoft and J2EE environments.
This position also requires working knowledge managing relational database environments operating on SQL. Knowledge and experience in eCommerce and web based architectures.
