Chemical Engineer: Afton Chemical
Chemical Engineers We are in need of Chemical Engineers at our Sauget, Illinois manufacturing plant.
Process Operations Engineer - responsibilities include providing technical assistance to production units, evaluating existing plant processes and proposing changes for safety/environmental/quality/cost improvements.
Candidate must possess process improvement experience with track record of success.
Work effectively in the manufacturing environment within a team.
Creative problem solving and troubleshooting skills as well as excellent communication skills are required.
Interest in and desire for experience and/or progression through operations is required.
Operation Engineer - primary responsibility will be to provide relief coverage for supervision in production units.
Secondary responsibilities include providing technical assistance to production units, evaluating existing plant processes and proposing changes for safety/environmental/quality/cost improvements, updating and maintaining documentation to reflect processes and equipment, start up coverage for new facilities, and evaluation of new product manufacturing opportunities.
Minimum requirement is a BS degree in Chemical Engineering.
We are a manufacturer of petroleum based additives.
Experience in a similar plant environment helpful but not required.
