CAD Drafter: Gagemaker LP
Entry level SolidWorks drafting position with the world's leading manufacturer of thread gages.
CAD Drafter/Designer Primary Responsibilities: Produce detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches.
Apply dimensioning, tolerances, notes, and object orientation in a traditional manner that can be read and understood by machinists.
Revise drawings required by Manufacturing and Quality Control.
Produce working copies of drawings for in-house orders.
Other duties as needed and assigned.
Requirements: Education Minimum of 2 years of college courses with Drafting and Design focus.
Courses in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and computer aided drafting required.
Experience- Minimum of 1 year of on the job use of SolidWorks software.
SolidWorks Software - Using SolidWorks create new and revise existing drawings for use in the manufacturing of Gagemaker products.
Mechanical aptitude - Display a level of mechanical aptitude in conceptual design and discussion of design projects.
Communication skills - Display the ability to explain ideas clearly.
Must speak and understand the English language and be able to communicate in writing.
