The Business Learning Leader is the conduit for information and coordination of learning products and services between the business and RTN Learning Organization.

This person is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership and coordination of learning across the business.

The position has a dual reporting relationship to the business Human Resource Vice President and Corporate Chief Learning Officer (CLO).

Essential Functions: - P artner with the business, functional learning leaders, and HR to develop a business learning strategy and strategic learning plan - Responsible for building a business learning map that includes and coordinates with the enterprise learning initiatives - Provide thought leadership as a learning champion and partner to the business - develop learning needs assessment; collect and integrate learning requirements; identify learning metrics to support business objectives; implement learning solutions to maximize Return On Investment in learning.

- Represent the business learning organization on the enterprise Learning Leadership team - Responsible for providing input to the Corporate Learning leadership team and the CLO for identification of what is core enterprise learning to be addressed with common learning deliverables.

- Sells the enterprise initiatives back into the business to maintain alignment and common understanding of the whole learning plan - Responsible for maintaining positive brand of Raytheon learning in the business - Identifies business specific learning needs by partnering within the business - Understands and communicates to the business the learning funding model - Identifies and manages the business learning spend outside the Corporate learning activities.

- Works with RPS and the learning expertise team and functional learning reps to design and deliver high value learning solution for the business - Monitors the capability of the Learning Management System for improvements - Coordinates the capture of competency models to feed the learning system and evolve for use in the Integrated Talent Development process - Responsible for assuring all non-core business learning deliverables are complementary and integrated as needed - Responsible for assuring the use of Raytheon enablers in the business learning activities (Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI ), Raytheon 6 Sigma , Integrated Product Development System, Customer Focused Marketing, MA, etc.) Required Skills: * Ability to partner with business leaders to shape learning requirements based on business vision, strategy and objectives * Demonstrated training thought leadership * Ability to be effective in a highly-matrixed environment, to effectively collaborate and communicate with the key stakeholders in the business, HR, learning organization; team player * Must have at least twelve years of experience in this area * Demonstrated successful experience in working in a demanding, high performance work environment; results oriented * Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
