Admissions Representative - Central Texas: Johnson & Wales Univ.

Organizes, directs, and administers student recruitment activities Summary Organizes, directs, and administers student recruitment activities for a geographically defined region to encourage prospective students to apply to and enroll at the university Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Organizes, directs and administers recruitment activities (eg school visits, college fairs, classroom presentations, information meetings, etc.) within a geographically defined region to recruit prospective students and to build relationships with educators - Communicates with prospective students, parents and educators to encourage and facilitate enrollment in the university - Attends periodic university meetings to learn about academic programs and other initiatives - Maintains records of recruitment efforts per department guidelines - Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent certification (G.

ED) - Experience working in admissions, sales, marketing or a related field Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education - Candidate should be located in and/or familiar with the designated territory of Central Texas (Austin - San Antonio) Additional Requirements - Extensive travel in designated territory; minimal out of territory travel as necessary - Valid US driver's license - Various weekend and evening assignments as required throughout the year - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - Excellent customer service, presentation, verbal/written communication and organization skills Salary for this position is low to mid $30's plus a $9880 annual car allowance fro travel throughout territory ALL CANDIDATES MUST APPLY ONLINE AT WORK.JWU.EDU - REQ #1725
