We will greatly appreciate suggestions regarding some sort of training would land a good job.

This is why?

After working 10 years with a credit card claims group, my sister, lost her job.

Now she wants to spend 1 or 2 studying a short carrier.

There is no such thing as job security - she just learned that.

While it doesn't really offer a specific training program, the video on this post mentions some up & coming jobs for the next few years that require training programs, but not necessarily college degrees - hope that helps!

Wow...I'm really sorry to hear that. Unfortunately jobs aren't secure these days anymore, which is obviously tough because your future is cloudy. I don't know much about training programs, but I do know if you go on this website (www.craigslist.com) there are always job postings in your area, some that pay well with no experience. .I also know some nursing programs that require 2 years of training, and nurses get paid well and its secure because its high in demand. Also try googling "top 10 highest paying jobs without a degree". You'd be surprised at what pops up.

Hope this helps. :)
