What is a good masters degree at the moment? In terms of jobs in demand despite the economy?

I'm a recent graduate who got a bachelor's degree in International Business. I've been fortunate enough to have a coaching job for a year but have not been able to find any job related to, in any way, to my degree (business). Since my job is currently flexible I am wanting to go back to school and get my masters but I am not sure in what. I want to pick something that is marketable and in demand and preferably in the business sector. I really appreciate some advice or even a great link where I can find good info. I've been researching a lot so hopefully I can make a wise educated selection. Thanks!!!!
Also, In your opinion what are top in demand jobs at the moment?

I read somewhere that Director of Marketting is one of the highest paying jobs with the least amount of education - requiring a masters. |

A lot depends on where you live. Do you want to stay where you are or are you willing to travel? If you want to stay where you are then take a look at the businesses around you. Are there any still growing? I had a company here where it had 30 employees about 10 years ago and now it has over 400... it's a growing company so it will need more employees as it grows. Growing companies are a great place to grow yourself. Maybe that company will pay for some if you masters degree classes (I know my company has over $50K allocated to education of it's employees). Think about where you want to live and then think about the industry in that area. Do your research on companies in that area and where they are in thier life. |
