Ive applied at a few places but ran out of ideas, people tell me to work as a waitress in resteraunts but i dont know where. i live in redwood city,

I really dont know where oedwood city is but at your age you can work as waitress , work in a fast food restaurant like mc donalds but i will recommend being a waitress , you will make good money for your age. good luck to you

I know you are 16 which is old enough for you to work anywhere with a work permit from parents approval. I don't know laws in your state but being a waitress is good money if you get the right restaurant.

There are plenty of potential problems for minors in work, many of them legal, parents have to be watchful about that. There is plenty of assistance from the site in the box below on this topic, they also have assistance for all people who are looking for work, or who have to change careers.
