Jobs ??Getting jobs in a factory 19 years old?

I am trying to get a job in a factory. Why is it so hard to get a job in the factory. The factory around my area are. Mailing company's, Food, 3M, I do know its hard to find jobs but people tell me its not hard to get in to factory jobs.

It could be because you're 19. Usually factory jobs look for someone older because they're less likely to quit the job after two weeks. Experience is a plus too. If there is a job opening, there could be 100 people going for that job, with much more factory experience. You just have to keep looking. |

Jobs are hard to find these days, so people are hanging onto the ones they have, so there aren't a lot of openings for replacements. |
