If I say that am currently employed will that be less opportunity to get hired? i work everyday and if i get asked why am i not on my job... what will be the best answer?
i want a job closer to my house so am planning to call in sick or something so that way i could go and apply for other job.

There's nothing wrong with looking for a new job while your currently employed. Just don't let you current employers find out, they may not take it so well. |

Do not lie in an interview and do not misrepresent yourself. Even if it allows you to get hired, it could also provide for your immediate dismissal. If you want to do a better job in the interview - and positively impress the employer - then do it the right way. Be prepared to answer their questions in the best possible way.
