I am very bored this summer and I am wanting to get a job. I am considering all types of jobs. I would really want to work in a store or fast food restaurant but I don't think they would hire me because of my age. Please give me more ideas if you can. I am open to all ideas. Please be creative and list anything.

Babysitting, paper route, yard work, selling stuff

It's not legal for you to babysit because you're still a minor yourself. By law you're not supposed to be left at home alone, which is why we have babysitters in the first place. How about a paper round ?

13? Well, like you said, a lot of places won't really hire people under 16 since many people 16 and older are looking for jobs.

I don't know where you live, but you could try getting a job as a child/teen model or background actor. For the background actor (or 'extra'), you don't necessarily need beautiful looks to get a role since they typically look for normal looking people to play background roles. But if you're in a city that doesn't have a lot of TV/movie production companies, that may not be plausible.

You could ask your parents to see if any of their friends or contacts are able to provide you with a job. You may have to settle with volunteer work though, which isn't bad at your age since you can accumulate experience for when you're older and are more appealing to hire. Typically, employers look for previous experience, so if you have none, you may be out of luck, even if you are 16+. But if you have relevant volunteer experience, you'll be a lot more appealing as an employee in the future.
