Will I get fired from my job (CNA)?

I had to call in to work today because my mom is in the hospital. She has cancer and a low immune system. She went to the hospital with 105 temp cause she has an infection that has spread to her whole body. She has septicemia. I want to be with her , I stayed with her all night and I am going back now after having some sleep . I have only been working as a cna at my job for almost 3 months now. This is my first time calling in and I called in ahead of time like we are supposed to. I am just wondering since I am within my 90 period, could I get fired ? I don't know what they do in this case , but I know we get points for missing work or being late. Please help!

If it's your first time then NO you wont be fired, but if you make a habit out of it, and your a poor worker then your chance of getting canned are higher. What kind of job is it? |
