Or would an associates degree can get me a job?

Yes, you will easily get a job. Getting a GOOD job is another story. The more education you have under your belt, the better the job you'll get. However, if you decide to go for the associates, go ahead and take one of the lesser paying jobs part time to gain experience. that always helps.

If you have a degree - or any alternative qualification - then you'll already be in advace of of the bunch when it comes to looking for jobs. My mate has a degree and he wasn't sure what direction to go with it, but he stumbled upon some good guidance on the site in the resource box below which helped him to settle that he wanted to be a lab assistant. There is a lot of guidance on the site regarding alternative jobs.

Well, I doubt you'd get a job easily with just a diploma. An associate may not even cut it. The people I know who went into the field usually ended up working retail and letting their degree gather dust.
