I have been looking in so many different places, but nothing seems to be happening. I apply to all these places and agencies but no one wants to employ me. It's really frustrating because i need some money and work, and being stuck at home is horrible because i have absolutely nothing to do as all my friends work full time Mon - Fri, so all i do is go gym or job hunt, but it's getting to the point where i can't be bothered to look for work anymore because no one seems interested in my CV or application forms.

If you are not working I'm assuming you are claiming job-seekers allowance. If so, next time you go to sign on talk with the person there and tell them you seem to be having difficulties finding work, and would like to have your CV looked at and/or want help in finding work. The job centre offer the opportunity for you to receive feedback on your CV and help in improving it if need be. They can also help you in other ways - e.g. sending you on a day course aimed at helping you make the best of your job seeking efforts. For instance, many people just send off their very generic CV to every job available. This is wrong, you need to take the time to tailor your CV to each job you apply for, and making your covering letter appear specific to that particular job.

I've been unemployed for a long period of time and understand how frustrating it can be not hearing back. The longer I was unemployed the more disillusioned I became and the more effort it became to find a job.
